Have a cup of Jaffa

I usually try to stay out of the “Israel vs (Enemy D’Jour)” debates, because I recognize that fundamentally, the conflict is one of land ownership, and as such cannot be solved so long as we hold to the land-as-property paradigm under which our world still suffers. For one example of how a geolibertarian might solve the conflict, Fred Foldvary gives us his take here.

land ownership…damn you and your hardcore libertarian stances! to be honest, i had never heard the land ownership argument, though i consider myself allied with most libertarian views.

while i can see that point as being a root cause, i hold a view quite different. in my honest opinion, i think the conflict is one of STUPID ASS PEOPLE AND THEIR MORONIC RELIGIONS. not a damned one of them would share, because they follow their diety with infamous idiocy.

that’s all it boils down to.

my daughter walked in and chose to ask
why are all those people layin on the floor
sleeping and covered in red, i told her
they were lookin for god but found religion instead

Oh no question. With the land thing I think that’s more a matter of — ok, say we strip religion out, and try to have an objective 3rd party decide which side is right, which side “rightfully onws” that land — they can’t, because the land “rightfully belongs” to no one and every one.

Which is why we never should have gotten involved and should get the hell out now.
