Lt. Watada & Gitmo
Excellent article by Joey King on the Lieutenant Watada matter.

On a related subject, last night I saw The Road to Guantanamo — powerful stuff. It boggles my mind that anyone can actually defend what we’re doing there. Granted it’s a “docu-drama” and it’s hard to know where “director’s license” might be kicking in, but if it’s even half true — well lets just say if we arrest those responsible, do ya think maybe then they’ll see the virtues of due process?
Update: Heh, fortuitous timing, James Bovard just published a piece in the LA Times suggesting basically the same thing.
