Sudanese Community and Women’s Service Center - A Taste Of Sudan Please join us for A Taste Of Sudan! This event, sponsored by the Sudanese Community and Women’s Services Center, will feature live music, Sudanese cuisine, and a handmade clothing sale. The event will take place on Saturday, April 21, 2007 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Glencliff High School, 160 Antioch Pike. Click here to get directions to this event. The Sudanese Community & Women’s Service Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Sudanese refugees and immigrants as they resettle in Tennessee and transition from tribal culture to American life. The center provides English Education classes as well as sewing and parenting classes and a vital link to the Nashville community.
Cool. I hope to swing by for a bit if I can. I’m curious to try that Sudanese cuisine!
