random brain noise

I was watching Annie Hall today, and it came to the part featuring Carol Kane. I was struck by something, but I couldn’t put my finger on what it was. It drove me crazy for a few minutes.

Finally, I realized it was how very much she reminded me — not all the time or even usually, but just in certain moments from this movie — of one of my favorite peeps:

Well, I couldn’t really find the right picture of either one to really show what I saw, but I guess you can sorta see it here.

Anyway, is it too corny that another movie quote seems appropriate?

Nice post. I think I can see what you see.

And what a great quote. Darn near makes me cry each time I hear it.

Thanks. Yeah, it’s something in both their eyes and smiles. And I do love that quote. Of course that movie is chock full of fantastic quotes, but that’s one of my favorites.

Whoa, I’m flattered. I think I can see it in a way, though that is the first time anyone’s made that comparison.

I couldn’t get the quote page to load right away, but when it finally did, and I read the whole thing, I did cry. That was so very sweet, Jon. I miss you, too.

    Aww, shucks…

Anyway I think I should get bonus points for subtly comparing the bible belt to a prison sentence :)
