I am still not wowed by the election (though I freely admit it was a lesser evil, more clearly than in almost any previous election in my lifetime), but I am resigned to its outcome. Yet the allegedly smart and committed-to-the-people Obama has so far (1) chosen that Chicago weasel Rahm E. as his chief advisor; (2) talked about the likes of Albright and other neocon Dems in his cabinet; and now (3) presented Hillary as potential for Sec of State ... NO NO NO NO NO NO NO ... NO!! Anyone but Bill Richardson (or Kucinich?) at this point would be pandering to the war partyites; Hillary as SoS would be the first true sign that he really won't do as he said he would, for way too many reasons ...
